Kickoff Call
We start every project with a questionnaire and an hour Zoom call to discuss your website project in-depth. This is where we will map out your site, discuss your branding, and plan the content.
This 1-1 kickoff call is a unique part of my signature process that allows me to do a deep dive into the background and marketing strategy behind your business so your website is built from the ground up on a conversion-based strategy.

Design & Develop
I block off time after our kickoff call to design your website. You are my top priority during the design phase!
I will start by building the wireframe (on a private development domain), will implement the branding, and build out the homepage. I will check in with you after about 1-week to make sure you like the general direction. Once approved, I’ll finish building out the rest of the website.

Edit and Launch
After your website is built, I will send a “markup” link where you can leave comments, upload content, and ask for edits during the revision process.
Once you are happy with your website and all content has been implemented, I will set up everything for you and launch your site. You don’t need to lift a finger! You will receive custom training videos and instructions so you can maintain your own website going forward.

I can sometimes get booked 4-6 weeks out, but once you are on my schedule, I block off time just for you. A templated website usually takes 2-3 weeks and a standard 5-page custom website typically takes about 4-6 weeks to design and launch, once we begin the project.
I am a one-woman agency, which means it takes a little longer to get on my schedule. However, if you aren’t in a rush, the benefit of working with Websites by Khara is that you will be working directly with me, the agency owner, throughout your entire project!

Hosting for new websites is included. Your Squarespace website will be hosted directly through Squarespace. They have several hosting pricing plans and we can build your website accordingly.

Squarespace has a much lower learning curve then WordPress. It is very easy to learn how to edit your own website. I also provide training and support resources to make sure you feel comfortable learning how to use your new website.
