4 Corners Film Office - Non Profit
The 4 Corners Film Office is a non-profit serving Durango, Colorado and the four corners area. Their website redesign was another migration from WordPress after a horrific hack that left the site barely usable. We transferred them over to Squarespace for ease of use on the backend so the non-profit would never have to worry about updates or security issues every again!
This website is a shining example of how we can utilize modern layouts for better user navigation. Here are just some of the ways we optimized this site for ideal user-experience:
We consolidated dozens of location information onto one page with pop-up boxes for easy navigation (to avoid the dreaded “back button”
We added a scrolling navigation and a back-to-top button to help with long-page content
We added a sticky announcement bar on desktop to keep important information top of mind
One of the biggest features of this website was the production guide. This feature allows producers to connect with local talent, and vise versa. Coming from WordPress, we were able seamlessly to integrate this into Squarespace using Community Box. plugin.
This website project was a custom business website from a blank canvas. In addition to some custom CSS, this website project also included Google Analytics and Search Console, Squarespace SEO optimization, video instructions and tutorials, a separate mobile responsive design, and much more.
