Estancia Ranquilco is a remote, off-grid horse ranch in the Patagonian Andes offering lodge stays, horseback pack trips, and deep nature immersion. They came to me for SEO help, but it quickly became clear that their website was working against them.
They had recently paid for a Squarespace site after leaving an unsupported Drupal build, but the transition had been mishandled. The site structure was broken, blog posts were imported as static pages, redirects were missing, and the platform wasn’t being used correctly. Rankings were dropping, and the user experience made it hard for people to take action.
We started from scratch with a full redesign on Squarespace, this time with a clear SEO strategy in place from the beginning. We cleaned up the site map, reorganized content by intent, built a proper blog, removed excess collections, and fixed technical issues that had been overlooked. We also updated the brand to reflect the quality of the experience Ranquilco offers: rustic, elegant, and professional.
